Chocolate Fudge Brownies
Easy - Do Ahead - Freeze
INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 cup unsweetened apple butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp, vanilla
- 1 cup egg substitute
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonfat cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine apple butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and egg substitute and mix until blended smooth. Stir in cocoa, flour, and baking powder; mix until all ingredients are blended. Spoon batter into prepared dish and bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool to room temperature; sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Serves: 24
