Peppermint Patty
Nice drink for Christmas... -- posted by Little Suzy Homemaker

Cappuccino Banana Smoothie
I created this today and was so surprised how great it tasted! It's low cal AND low fat (like most of my smoothies/milkshakes) and there's room for variations. I used Nescafe's hazelnut flavored instant, but I would like to try other flavors, or espresso powder. For the cocoa, I used Hershey's unsweetened, and the milk was fat free. I also had the frozen banana chunk from earlier, but I would like to try it unfrozen. I'd also like to use more milk and less water -- posted by CafeAmaimonotsuki

Tropical Punch
I make this at Christmas - very easy to drink, too easy in fact !! -- posted by katew

Cafe Boheme Mochachino Martini
Found this on www.cafeboheme.com. Cafe Boheme is a coffee creme liqueur. -- posted by LonghornMama

Jaeger Tea
A simple cocktail with Schnapps, rum and a bit of orange juice. Though most of the flavour comes from the Schnapps and rum, you can really taste the addition of the black tea. -- posted by Annacia

Berry Blast Cocktail
Sounds good. . .placed here for safe keeping. Found on Drink Nation. -- posted by JanuaryBride

Easy Peach Punch
You will find an alcohol version and a non-alcohol version here. This is really refreshing and especially fun for kids with the ice cream floating on top. If you want to get really creative, using extra juice, freeze it and float it on top in the punchbowl. A bundt pan or pretty much any round mold works well. Prep time does not include refrigeration time. Cheers! -- posted by BIG_CHIEF

Hg's Pumpkin-Licious Nog! - Ww Points = 2
This recipe was featured in an email today from Hungry Girl: "Nog Heaven! There are just two short days 'til Christmas, people, so NOG IT UP! Our Pumpkin-licious Nog is creamy, delicious, and (duh) guilt-free. Even if you don't like eggnog, chances are you'll LOVE this stuff. And if you want to make an alcoholic version of this drink, nix the rum extract and add 5 oz. rum to the recipe. Each serving of the spiked stuff has 174 calories and a POINTS. value of 3*. Break out that blender!" -- posted by senseicheryl

Barbara's Margarita on the Rocks
I have been making Margarita's for a long while. Everyone that visits wants one. Some how no one can make them the way I do! You may want to reduce the Cuervo Tequilla to 1 oz. I use about 1/2 ounce of lime juice but that is my preference. Also, a ripe lime will not be as bitter. I always drop the remaining lime in my drink. I will not use any other ingredients but Cuervo Margarita Mix. It is green but it's the best mix, in my opinion, to use. These are potent Margarita's so please be careful! -- posted by onecoolbarbie

Non-Alcholic Fruity Brunch Cocktail
This isn't just for brunch. It would be a nice non-alcoholic cocktail any time of day but it got the name because I threw it together this morning to drink while I put together Christmas brunch. It would also be nice at any party where there are people - and kids - that don't wish to drink alcohol but still want to feel part of the party. -- posted by Sarah_Jayne

Sour Patch Kid
Has a puckery sweet-tartness that reminds me of the candy with the same name. Fun! -- posted by Sue L

Cincinnati Marriott's White Punch
This recipe was made after I changed up the San Francisco Marriott's Pink Punch. (My sister in law didn't want a red/pink punch in case of spills). I didn't feel it was fair to rate the Pink Punch, so decided to post my own variation. The colors make it nice for Christmas! You can change your fruit if desired. -- posted by Leahcooks

In the Pink Deluxe Smoothie
I just love grapefruit juice and this mixes it with orange juice and bananas and strawberries for a tantalizing concoction! Enjoy! -- posted by Sharon123

Rock Island Railroad Clam Juice Cocktail
This is taken from "Dinner in the Diner" and the Rock island says it is a good hangover cure, something which many need during the Holiday season! I think you could substitute horseradish in a jar for the fresh if you cannot find. -- posted by Dan-Amer #1

Real Hot Chocolate
Although I live in Florida now, this is still a favorite on a chilly night. After shoveling snow on those cold New England winter days, this is the way Mama made it and had waiting for my brothers and me. We would line up our boots outside the door and run to the kitchen table in our stocking feet. Sometimes, instead of whipped cream, we would put a spoonful of "Marshmallow Fluff" on top. Oh, those were the days!!! -- posted by Alan in SW Florida

Flavored Frothed Milk
I was in search of a way to make a flavored frothed milk topping for a hot chocolate gift basket... I had the milk frother, but went through many trials and failures of flavoring the milk and getting it to actually froth. I tried pudding mix, powdered creamers... I think I have found the answer. A little of this flavoring goes a long way -- after it's crushed, 1/8 tsp equals two tablets. The more "stuff" you add to the milk, the less it's going to keep its froth, it will start to dissolve quicker. At least that's my experience with skim milk... whole milk might do better. -- posted by SashasMommy

Chocolate Banana High Protein Diet Shake
This is a shake that I designed to be apart of a weight loss program for myself. It will be used either as breakfast or a 4th meal. -- posted by Ron Mauldin

This is from a Company's Coming Christmas Celebrations cookbook that I bought for myself at the after Christmas sales.I am drinking this right now,it is scrumptious! There are a few others recipes here similiar to this but not exact so I thought I would post this one too. I divided all ingredients in half and got 2 cups of lattes.I used about 1 tsp of Baileys Irish Cream Caramel Flavor in mine.I also omitted the nutmeg, not a big fan of it.For the coffee I used instant.3 tsp into hot water. -- posted by LuuvBunny

Café Con Leche
A popular Spanish coffee drink, often served at breakfast. The proportions should be equal quantities milk and strong coffee. The ingredients and instructions include making the coffee with a French press, but you can substitute any very strong brewed coffee or espresso. I wouldn't recommend instant coffee or decaf as neither would likely be strong enough. The scalded milk will be sweeter than fresh milk, so keep that in mind when adding sugar. This recipe is from mrbreakfast.com. Times are estimates. -- posted by Halcyon Eve

The Chiapas Chocolate Drink
Mexico is known for creating some of the most delicious chocolate in the world. It's often often flavored with herbs and spices. -- posted by Annacia

Black Manhattan
Toast your good health and a prosperous New Year with this wonderful cocktail. This is based on a drink served at a bar in San Francisco called the "Bourbon & Branch". The original recipe calls for bourbon, but I like the rye whiskey with the dashes of two different bitters. You make the choice!! Averna Amaro is a wonderful Italian liquor made with herbs, roots, and citrus rinds, and a caramel flavor added for sweetness...perfect on its own or just about any cocktail you can throw it in. -- posted by Alan in SW Florida

Mulled Cider
A hot drink for a cold night. Prep time = cook time -- posted by FloridaNative

Chocolate Heart (Adult Beverage)

Cherry Brandy Cocktail

Minty Hot Chocolate

Kahlua Latte
I got this recipe off a Kahlua glass and it's wonderful! I've been meaning to post this for a while, but the glass just has lines you fill to - - 1 part kahlua, 1 part vodka, 2 parts milk, etc. So, I finally had to get a measuring shot glass to get the exact measurments. I wanted to get this recipe posted before I break the glass and lose the recipe forever. It's a great drink. -- posted by Northern Cook

Also a delicious, warming beverage for those chilly winter days. -- posted by Acoustic Indigo

Creamy Cinnamon Vanilla Coffee
An easy flavored coffee just as tasty as the expensive stuff from the coffee shop. Quantities are a little vague because I'm not sure how my favorite, huge mug scales down to smaller cups -- use your sense of smell to find proportions that are flavorful, but not too candy-sticky because this is coffee to go with dessert rather than to substitute for the dessert. :) Since I like flavored coffees in the evening I usually use decaf -- brewed strong. Most of the prep time is brewing the coffee. -- posted by 3KillerBs
